About the event
On May 17th from 3:00 PM to 10:00 PM at PYLUSD, all YDA dancers selected for the GALA PERFORMANCE are required to attend a mandatory dress rehearsal. Dancers must wear full costumes but no makeup.
This rehearsal allows:
the lighting designer to set light cues
dancers to space the stage and be in the performance space rehearsing with lightings and projections
helps students (especially new dancers) practice quick changes
a trial expereince for everyone to be ready for the actual performance to prevent chaos, promote discipline, and most importantly a smooth show day.
